Local Food – Local Craft – Local Talent

6 Markets a Year – March – May & September – November

“The Palms”, Gaskill St, Canowindra CBD

Launching the first market of 2024 with a weekend-long experience focused on creativity, healing, and self-expression is an inspired idea.

By bringing together numerous artists, healers, musicians, and creative individuals, we are creating a vibrant and enriching environment for attendees to engage and learn. The workshops, demonstrations, and market full of fun activities offer a diverse range of experiences for people to explore.

The concept of meshing art, creativity, and healing modalities is incredibly powerful. It highlights the interconnectedness between different forms of expression and how they can contribute to overall well-being.

By showcasing the benefits of self-expression and creativity, the Art of Healing Festival provides a platform for attendees to discover new ways to connect with themselves and others while nurturing their mental, emotional, and spiritual health. It’s a wonderful initiative that has the potential to make a positive impact on the community.

More about The Palms Market

The Palms Canowindra Inc is a community group whose aim is to create a resilient, locally-supplied market that has a core of regular produce stalls and a rotating group of casual dining, art and crafts stalls to create a balance between consistent food supplies, interesting new street food, arts and crafts, and a social hub for the community.

The market supports stallholders selling products that are locally made or grown. Food products must be produced within 100 miles. We will also consider non-local products that are hand made, ethically sourced, eco friendly, majority Australian made, recycled/upcycled/second-hand clothing, collectibles/antiques.

It has been incredible to watch our market grow from an extremely random chat under the Palms into an amazing treat for Canowindra running 6 months of the year to align with community events such as the Christmas Street Markets and The Balloon Festival. This is not done without all our wonderful stallholders and visitors, so on behalf of the Committee thanks to everyone for growing this market into a fantastic community event! For upcoming dates please see our calendar page.

If you are interested in being a stallholder, we now have an online booking system. We have a private Member area where stallholders can update their profiles, and this will become part of a public stallholder directory in the future.
